There are carefully and most importantly fun and enjoyable versions of the game that have been developed for young boys and girls, men and women.  Variations include rule changes, different number of players per team, field size, number of passes and tackles.

Come Play Rugby League

NRL Safe Play

The SafePlay Code that was developed to emphasise safety and good conduct within the game of Rugby league by creating the best possible on-field environment and actively controlling undesirable actions. It applies to all players up to and including the Under 15 years age group.
