Six Junior Rep Trial Games to kick-off 2025 at Sharks Academy

It was a Super Saturday at the Sharks Academy, with a full day of junior representative trial action as the Sharks hosted six crucial matches ahead of the 2025 NSWRL season. A sizeable crowd packed the venue all day to see the full schedule of games that were on offer to kick-off the new year. With only three weeks until the official start of the competition, every game played a vital role in the final team selections.

The day featured an exciting lineup, with the Sharks hosting the Wests Tigers for the Lisa Fiaola and Tarsha Gale Cup matches, while the boys went head-to-head against the Western Suburbs Magpies. The Harold Matthews Cup and SG Ball squads were in action, as well as the u16 and u18 development squads, giving selectors one last opportunity to evaluate talent and fine-tune their rosters.

The countdown is now on for the last trial match of the preseason, with the Sharks set to host the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at the Sharks Academy this Saturday. This final hit-out will be crucial as the teams make their final adjustments before the NSWRL junior representative season kicks off on February 1st.
