Our female stars of tomorrow shone bright at u7 Girls Tag League Gala Day

On Sunday the 7th of August, the Cronulla Junior Rugby League hosted it's very first under 7s League Tag Gala day with the assistance of the Kurnell Stingrays JRLFC at Marton Park.

The future definitely looks bright for continued growth of female participation in The Cronulla Junior Rugby League with almost 90 girls from 4 club's (Kurnell Stingrays, Gymea Gorillas, Como Crocs & De La Salle) coming out to play a round-robin format of games against one another as well as participate in a learn to tackle workshop facilitated by Huw Ellis from NSWRL.

There were plenty of smiles and lots of fantastic Blues Tag action across the entire morning with all girls receiving a medal to commemorate their participation in what was a great way to end their 2022 season.

A huge thank you to all of the volunteers and the Kurnell Stingrays JRLFC for putting on a great day. We would also like to thank our major sponsor Aramex Australia who continues to be invested in rugby league here in the shire and more specifically passionate ambassadors for female participation in our sport.
